Replicant

Hi,

I am a supporter of free software and I am interested in Replicant, but I have to admit that I have yet to make the switch away from Android. I had been hoping to try a Replicant phone when my current device (Samsung Galaxy S7) reached its end-of-life (which it now pretty much has); however, I was recently informed by Sprint that they are upgrading their whole network and that I will need to upgrade to a 5G-capable phone by the end of the year to be able to continue to use it.

So, is Replicant compatible with 5G? It seems to mostly support older models, so I assume probably not. Does that mean then that I wouldn't be able to use a Replicant phone with Sprint after they upgrade the network?

I'd really appreciate any advice on this.
