Note 2 with new Replicant 4.2 Installation - Sensors
Added by Taylor Gunnoe about 11 years ago
The sensors on my Replicant Note 2 don't seem to work. I havent seen any guides here where to fix the sensors, and the status page says they work. So I am assuming that I am missing something. I cant get autorotate/autodim and other functionality out of the device.

It works perfectly on mine. Try installing Sensors Readout, play with it and send me a main log: GettingLogs

Are you sure your device is a Note 2? There is an issue with sensors on the Galaxy Note N7000 that will be fixed with the next images release.

Yes, I have the GT-N7100 model. Ive already tried Sensors Readout, but on every one of them it only says "waiting for sensors to become ready". I'll get back to with the logs this evening. Thanks!!

That looks like a problem with sensors indeed. Waiting for your logs then. dmesg might be useful too.

I ran both logcat main and dmesg in terminal and attached results. I couldnt get much useful out of alogcat and my adb wasn't set up properly, so I hope this is enough.

This doesn't show enough, sorry. Please get logcat from adb: GettingLogs :) And do it after trying to play with the sensors (preferably, after a clean reboot too).
