Use cases:
  • It might be interesting to use GuiX as they have integrated configuration management, which could enable any one to contribute to the infrastructure, just by sending patches. Right now, this is not possible as we need to trust the people involved in the configuration of our infrastructure because we have no configuration management.
  • Parabola or other distributions might have more recent software.
